Rope to Indian Flag

The rope is held at one end and the other end held up. When the top end is left the rope falls down just like a normal rope. This is repeated once or twice, – then finally the rope magically stands straight.

The magician explains that the Indian Rope Trick is only a figment of the imagination, which in fact does not exist. So also is the rope trick the spectators have just seen, – there really is no rope which can stand up magically. As he says this he passes his hand over the rope, and it is seen to transform into a Indian Flag which the magician opens and freely displays to the audience on both sides.
